PHASES OF COMPETITION

INTERVIEW 

​

The Interview Competition is structured in a panel style and serves as an ideal opportunity to showcase why you're the ideal candidate to be crowned as our Queen. The judges will not pose any political, religious, or textbook-style questions. Instead, they aim to understand your personality better. Business attire is the recommended dress code for contestants.

COUTURE WEAR 

​

Get ready to strut your stuff on the runway! Flaunt your fashion-forward flair in a fiery red-carpet ensemble of your choice at this high-energy runway challenge. Take center stage and show off your own personal flair while dazzling the crowds with your style and charisma. Leave those jeans at home and channel your inner Milan Fashion Week muse. But, sorry, evening gowns won't make the cut for this couture catwalk!

EVEVNING GOWN 

All delegates MUST wear a floor length gown that is age appropriate for the formal wear/evening gown competition.  Contestants are judged on grace, the fit of the gown, poise and overall presentation.

SOCIAL IMPACT SPEECH 

 Get ready to rally behind a social mission that tugs at your heartstrings! Pitch your chosen cause with passion and confidence, highlighting why it deserves to be the talk of the town. Your pitch should convey your comfortability communicating  about the issue at hand and why yours should be selected for widespread community promotion. 

A few examples are:

• Promoting Racial Equity 

• Suicide Prevention

• Childhood Cancer Awareness

• Sexual Assault Prevention

• Arts Advocacy

Pre-Pageant Scoring

 

This is a comprehensive evaluation of a titleholder's performance during their tenure with their title. This evaluation takes into account various factors such as appearances, community service, platform projects, conduct both in person and online prior to the pageant, communication with the National office, adherence to deadlines, and conduct during the pageant weekend.

State/International Costume -

Mandatory Independent Competition

​

In this competition, delegates will showcase an outfit of their choosing, which represents their state or country's nickname, landmark, or special symbol. The competition has no limitations, and the contestants are free to embellish or decorate their outfits as they see fit.
The criteria for judging for this competition is based on the creativity of the costume, modeling execution, confidence, personality, and stage presence.
It's essential to note that this phase of the competition is scored separately and doesn't impact the total scores of the preceding phases of the competition, and it does not influence who wins the National Titles. You may select the music track for this phase to match your state theme, although please ensure that it's clean.

Delegates can compete in the pageant under the following guidelines:

1.  Age divisions are determined by June 1, 2025. Delegates may move up to the next division should their birth date fall between May 1st – June 1st, 2025.

​

2. A delegate/parent must live, work or own property in the state/country that the delegate will be competing or the delegate must attend school in the state/country she would be competing in.

​

3. If there is only one contestant in a division, the directors have the right to combine with the next respective division. There will be no winners by default.

​

4. Delegates are to be a size 14 and up.

Entry Fee for 2025 is $700

$150 Deposit to secure your title. ($550 Balance)

Crown and sash is not ordered until half your fees have been paid. Please allow 4-6 weeks for all items to be ordered and shipped to you.
